Work Day at Roger That! Sunday May 19th from 12:30-5:30. We’ll be planting donated (and expensive) tulip bulbs, dividing some over grown plants to transplant in the tree beds, planting herbs, and begining on our new raised beds as well as planters for Love Your Block planting day - coming up real soon! Bring gloves and electric drills if you got em!

I reeeaaallllyyyy have to update our blog! Spring has been so busy and exhaustingly fun-filled that it’s taken up all of my sitting inside on my computer energy. We’re still here though. Alive and well. Better than ever, in fact.

WORK DAY SUNDAY, APRIL 21! 12-4:30/5. COME GET DIRTY!
We had a wonderful plenary session this past Saturday. Much was discussed in terms of priority projects, our upcoming Love Your Block event for the beautification of Park Place, as well as making committees so as to share multiple responsibilities of the growing garden. Please contact us at RogerThatGardenProject @ gmail.com in order to get on our Google Group, get involved, and get to work!

I don’t know why, but none of my peas have germinated. Which makes me really upset.

Today I started many seeds and built them a little, baby hoop house - Radishes, two kinds of “rare” onions, chives, heirloom beets, turnips, carrots, kale, beans, and, of course sweet peas. But the later went straight in the ground. Aerated the new compost pile, did some spring cut-back, and straightened up a bit too.
However, completed this all with an extreme cold. Like, extreme to the max serious illness. So I’ll probably be dead tomorrow.
